Description
This is a set of 3 tools for making shakuhachi joints.
A disc-shaped part is placed on a long, narrow base (which rotates), allowing the disc part to rotate smoothly.
The conical part of the long, narrow base has a diameter of 2.8 cm to 3.9 cm and can shape rings.
The diameter of the disc is approximately 15 cm.
Another part is used to flatten silver rings; by placing the ring on this part and striking it from above, the thickness of the ring is made uniform.
I purchased these a while ago (they were quite expensive), but I have forgotten how to use them, so I cannot provide support. However, I recall that after melting and forming silver wire into a circle on the disc, the parts shown in the photo were used to clamp it, and then it was struck with a hammer to make fine adjustments to the thickness and diameter.
