This unit has had its CPU and other components replaced, and has special quirks with power-on and fan control, making it a reason for concern / junk item listing.

・CPU: Intel Core i7 2.53GHz (※Replaced from Core i3)
・Memory: 12GB (※Expanded from 4GB)
・Storage: HDD 500GB (※Has been replaced)
・OS: macOS High Sierra
※OS has been clean installed. It will start from the initial setup screen as it did when new.

■ Reasons for Concern / Important Notes (Must Read)
① Special quirk during power-on
The power button will not respond until you wait for approximately 15 minutes after plugging in the power cord. This is presumed to be due to capacitor degradation or power supply unit wear.
※Once powered on, it can be started immediately as long as the power cord is not unplugged (even after a normal system shutdown). If the power is interrupted, a 15-minute wait will be required again.

② Cooling fan runaway and temperature sensor
The dedicated temperature sensor was removed during a past HDD replacement, so the fan will run at full speed (full rotation) upon startup as a protective measure, producing loud noise.
You will need to install and configure software such as HDD Fan Control yourself after startup to manually control the fan.

③ OS limitations and HDD lifespan risk
Due to the old OS, there are limitations on using the latest applications. The HDD is also old and carries a risk of lifespan issues, so please consider this with the premise of performing maintenance such as replacing it with an SSD yourself.
