The basic design does not use the genuine rubber gasket.
It is possible to install the rubber gasket, but be careful as overtightening can lead to deformation or damage of the rubber gasket and reel.
If you are concerned about salt buildup or waterproof performance, applying a small amount of grease to the screw threads before installation can be effective in improving waterproofness and reducing salt buildup.
