While subjective, compared to the successor model (MK2) which has been adjusted for a modern, balanced sound, the First model's strong mid-low frequency push and dense sound create a sound that allows you to directly feel the music's energy, which I believe is a characteristic unique to the First.
Furthermore, the First model also features natural sheepskin leather on the headband, giving it a luxurious build that doesn't feel like cost-cutting.
