This is a Shakuhachi bag.

I do not own a shakuhachi, so I cannot answer questions about whether it will fit.

This is Type B.
This item was made to fit shakuhachi with a diameter of approximately 5 cm, up to about 58 cm in length.
A drawstring has been attached a few centimeters from the opening. The length can be adjusted to some extent by folding.

The gusset at the top and bottom will be taken up by the diameter of the shakuhachi.
Even if the overall length of the item is long, if it has a thick diameter, a gusset will be created at the top and bottom, making it difficult for many items to fit.
For an idea of the thickness, I have included a photo with an unopened mini juice can (approximately 5.2 cm) for reference.
Please consider all photos as reference only.
We do not accept returns, custom orders, or complaints. Please purchase only if you are fully satisfied.

The length and width that fit in each shakuhachi bag vary from item to item.

Length: approx. 74.5 cm (slightly long)
(Length when not folded)
Width: approx. 10.2 cm

I cannot guarantee how much the color will fade or transfer. Please understand.

Depending on the user, if you untie the string or pull out the top fold, I would recommend Type A. However, for the time being, only Type B will be listed.

The item will be shipped folded. I cannot be responsible for any damage, but you may want to lightly iron out the creases.

This is a handmade item, so please handle it gently and with care.
I make these items as a hobby. They do not have the same strength as commercially produced products.
Please purchase only if you understand and agree to these precautions.
