Description
• Shakuhachi body: 51 cm (material unknown, possibly wood or bamboo)
• Small black leather-like cover for the top
• Shakuhachi case (bag): 75 cm
Thank you for looking.
I know nothing about shakuhachi. This belonged to a family member. I believe it was purchased over twenty years ago, but I cannot be certain. The family member was also a beginner and apparently used it only a little.
It is significantly cracked. There are also areas that appear to have thin lines, so please check the photos. (Photos 7-9)
A few weeks ago, the top and bottom parts were detachable, but they are now stuck and will be sold as is.
I have only wiped it with a dry cloth and have not performed any special cleaning.
The case has some sun-faded areas, which I have photographed to show, but they may be difficult to see.
Thank you for your understanding and for considering a purchase despite these conditions.
