Description
I didn't like the original stiff and long cable, so I re-cabled my ATH-AD500 with a 3.5mm jack. I've confirmed that it produces sound, but my soldering skills are poor, so the internal work is likely not well done. There is a small hole in the white paper material near Akamaru in the last image where the soldering iron touched. I don't know what the original AD500 sounds like, but personally, I think it sounds quite good.
The jack used is the MJ-074N, which is also shown in the images.
Please note that the cable is not included. Therefore, this item is listed as a junk item. Thank you for your understanding.
