Description

Made by Yozan Hikiji. 1 shaku 7 sun bore, Kinko-ryu style, gold three-stringed. Mouthpiece with gold rim, 7 holes, with two maker's marks.
This shakuhachi produces a resonant tone with a powerful sound.
I have been collecting these, but I am now parting with them due to decluttering.
I am also listing other shakuhachi made by renowned craftsmen. All of them are masterpieces, and I purchased them at considerable expense.

There is a repair mark on the upper joint side using Kintsugi (gold joinery), but I actually liked how it added to the aesthetic.

I sincerely hope it will be passed on to someone who appreciates its value.
