Shakuhachi 2-piece and sheet music set
165.00 $
Description
Ships in simple packaging.
This item was found in a storage cellar. Likely from the late Meiji to early Taisho/Showa periods.
Believed to be made by the maker two generations before Seisui.
I have no expertise in this area, so I have set the condition to poor overall.
There are many sheet music scores, mostly Tozan-ryu from the Meiji and Taisho eras, followed by Ueda-ryu, and many scores from other schools. If there are any lost pieces, I will try to find them among the sheet music.
I will add more photos if you leave a comment.
I hope someone who can play will bring this instrument back to life.
Thank you for looking.
The previous owner appears to have been a plant breeder at Takii Seed's Nagaoka Research Farm, specializing in flower and vegetable cross-breeding.
Would it be better to show this to people from Tozan-ryu and Ueda-ryu first?
I will be moving, so this listing will be available until around April.
