This is a Japanese musical instrument, a Jinashi Nobekan Shakuhachi. It was purchased from a recycling shop.

This is a Tozan-ryu shakuhachi, approximately 65cm in length.
While modern shakuhachi are typically made in two pieces with a joint, this is a very rare Nobekan (one-piece construction) without any joints.
Because there are no joints, you can enjoy the beautiful lines of the bamboo itself and its feel in your hands.
A long, one-piece Tozan-ryu shakuhachi is a rare specification that is not often seen on the market. This is recommended for those looking for a unique and special instrument, or as part of a collection of Japanese aesthetics.
