Daiwa TOURNAMENT-Z 2000iA [Discontinued Item]

Daiwa TOURNAMENT-Z 2000iA

Thank you for your interest. Please read the following description and profile carefully before purchasing.

This reel was released approximately 30 years ago.
I purchased it as an unused item on Yahoo Auctions and used it about 3 times for ajing and mebaring (rockfish fishing).

Due to its age, I have replaced all bearings except for the handle knob with the following:
① Hedgehog Studio SHG-630ZZ ¥792 x 4
② Hedgehog Studio SHG-1170ZZ ¥792 x 3
③ Hedgehog Studio SHG-1470H ¥902 x 1
④ Hedgehog Studio SHG-1470 ¥902 x 1
⑤ Minebea DDL-1910ZZY05 ¥341 x 1
*Only the bearings have been replaced; the grease in the gears and drag system remains as it was when originally released.

● Although difficult to see in the images, there are some minor, inconspicuous scratches and scuffs.
● Although the bearings (except for the handle knob) have been replaced, the reeling feel is almost unchanged from before the replacement. I will include the original bearings that were attached before the replacement.
● Please judge the condition of the item from the images.
● As this is a personal inspection, please understand that there may be other oversights.
● The item shipped will be everything shown in the images.
● Specifications: Please refer to image 20.
● Absolutely do not purchase if you are sensitive about details.
(e.g., those seeking perfection, those concerned about minor details, those sensitive to smells)
*Those who purchase will be deemed to have agreed to all of the above.

● To reiterate, please absolutely do not purchase if you are seeking perfection, are concerned about minor details, or are concerned about smells.

*As this is a considerably old item, it does not have the silky smooth reeling feel of modern reels. There may be some rattling and a slight grinding sound.
Furthermore, although the bearings (except for the handle knob) have been replaced, the grease in other areas is likely deteriorated as it remains from the time of release. We recommend this item for those who are skilled at reel overhauls or who appreciate vintage reels.
