Shamisen - Three-stringed - For Jiuta

84.48 $
Description
Category... Shamisen
Type... Medium-neck
Material... Rosewood
Includes hard case, case cover, and silk bag for strings.

Used for Jiuta and Ikuta-ryu koto music.
Purchased from a reputable, authorized traditional Japanese musical instrument specialty store.
While both sides of the skin have tears and some discoloration, there are no other chips or cracks.
Would be suitable for practice, for those looking to start playing the shamisen, or for students in a class.
As it is difficult to manage humidity when the skin is stretched, we would like the buyer to have it re-skinned.
Thank you for your consideration.
Please feel free to ask for additional images or ask any questions in the comments.

It is a great value with the hard case included.
The hard case does not have a key.

*Please note that the item cannot be shipped from February 6th to February 9th. Shipping will resume on the 10th.
