This is an Edgar Sealey  fly reel.
It has a very substantial presence as shown in the images.
The  is a vintage reel produced from the 1950s to the early 1960s.

This reel was OEM manufactured by the renowned British fishing tackle manufacturer, J.W. Young, for Edgar Sealey.
It is based on J.W. Young's Condex model, with added multi-layer coating and drilled spool holes for a high-end specification upgrade.

Regarding the condition of the item (Images 3-8), the exterior has no major scratches overall as shown in the images. (Images 9-12) The interior is also rust-free and very clean.

Although over 60 years have passed since its production, it is rare for such a perfectly conditioned item to appear on the market. This reel is an extremely rare, excellent condition piece.

Due to its wide spool, it is also compatible with switch rods. The classic appearance of the  paired with a modern rod will create a vintage feel and look stunning on the field.
