This is a Tsuyama bachi for the shamisen, carefully stored by my mother.

The box reads Fuji Brand, High-Quality, Tsuyama Bachi, Nana-Go.

[Size]
- Total length: approx. 22.8 cm
- Tip width: approx. 13 cm
- Weight: approx. 213 g

Comes with a dedicated case.

No chips, cracks, or splits are visible on the bachi tip.
The vertical lines seen on the handle are believed to be from the manufacturing process, with no surface irregularities, and are not cracks.

The wooden tip cover has been repaired with wood glue due to cracking during storage. As this is a delicate part, it may crack again depending on future use, so please consider it as an accessory.

It is said to be an item from 40-50 years ago, and I was told it was expensive at the time.
