Description
This is a set of a long bag and a body bag for a shamisen, made from disassembled used kimono fabric.
The outer fabric uses the plain black part of a tsukesage with a patterned accent, and the lining is made of a green shibori komon.
It has a plump and soft finish.
Long bag: Height 115cm, Width 32cm
Body bag: Height 44cm, Width 32cm
Measurements are taken by an amateur, please use them as a guide.
⭐︎ To maximize fabric usage, the pieces are sewn together. The seams on the outer bag will be covered by the neck of the shamisen when stored, and will not be noticeable when the string is tied.
⭐︎ There are some remaining creases that could not be completely ironed out.
⭐︎ All parts except for the black outer bag and strings are hand-sewn. It can be easily disassembled for remaking or alterations.
This is a handmade item by an amateur, made from repurposed kimono fabric that is no longer worn. Please consider this before purchasing.
