Shamisen Nagabukuro and Doubukuro 1/3

33.00 $
Description
This is a remade obi bag made from a genuine silk furisode kimono purchased at a recycle shop. The pattern is gorgeous, but the subdued colors give it a calm elegance. It features some gold thread embroidery.
The lining of the main bag is made from the hakkake (lower part of the kimono lining) of the same kimono.
The lining of the long bag is made from genuine silk fabric of a nagajuban (under-kimono) also purchased as a bolt of cloth at a recycle shop. The lining of the main bag is from another furisode kimono. Based on the feel and texture, I believe it is silk.
The photos show a Tsugaru shamisen placed inside. The shamisen is not included.

This is a handmade item by an amateur. Please be aware of this.

Below are my personal thoughts...
When a shamisen is left idle, the sound can become muffled, but I feel it produces a better sound as it is played more. However, when stored in a genuine silk long bag and main bag, I feel it produces a good sound from the very first strike. (*^^*)
