You can power your Daiwa electric reel with your existing Makita 18V battery.
Both 14.4V and 18V batteries can be used, but
we recommend using 18V batteries for optimal performance.
Compatible batteries are also fine.
14.4V lightweight batteries are not supported.

You can effectively utilize the batteries from your power tools used for work without having to buy expensive genuine manufacturer batteries.
It is set to 16.8V specifically for Daiwa reels, so the high voltage and powerful winding will become addictive.
