Leather Cover for Ambassador 1500C
10.00 $
Description
ABU Ambassador 1500c
This is a genuine cowhide leather cover for the ABU Ambassador 1500.
Color: Dark Brown, 1mm thick.
This is a handmade item by an amateur, so please understand that there may be rough stitching and cuts.
It is designed not to interfere with the level wind or other parts, so you can cast with it on. However, depending on your casting style, it may affect line release.
The primary purpose is to prevent scratches during transport, especially for stream fishing.
As it is leather, it will complement the vintage aesthetic of Abu Garcia reels and grips, and will develop its own style as the leather ages.
A spare set of clip buttons is included.
Reel is not included.
The cover is made to fit snugly around the circumference of the reel. By stretching it (or lightly wetting the leather to make it softer and more pliable if it's difficult) and fastening the buttons, it will conform to the 1500c for a perfect fit.
