Thank you for looking.

This is Google's streaming audio device, Chromecast Audio.
When it was released, I bought it thinking I could stream audio from my smartphone to my TV, stereo system, or speakers. However, I stopped using it after network transporters and Bluetooth receivers became available.

While organizing my audio equipment during a major cleaning, I found it and tested the sound. Audio from my smartphone played through the 3.5mm jack.
Although it looks scratched and dirty, there are no operational issues.

Since the 3.5mm audio jack also supports digital output, I believe this is an inexpensive option for a streaming-compatible DDC.

Please note that it may not be recognized by some smartphones/tablets during setup.
