Zori (Japanese sandals) for Middie Blythe and Obitsu 11 dolls.
These are footwear to make your doll's kimono outfits even cuter.
Not only are they cute, but I made them because I wanted zori that were easy to put on, wouldn't fall off, and allowed the doll to stand stably when dressed in a kimono.
The process involves wrapping balsa wood cut to the shape of the foot with fabric, creating the thong with thin elastic cord and shirred fabric, and making the sole with craft paper and fabric, all glued together with wood glue.
There may be white marks from the wood glue remaining.
Please do not get them wet.
This can cause color bleeding or stains.
