Made by Kobo Hiraku, this is a new instrument made of white bamboo, bound with rattan, and finished with cashew lacquer. Please understand that the pitch and tone quality of the Hichiriki can vary depending on the player, playing style, reed, cement, and paper. How about this for those who are learning Hichiriki for the first time or those who wish to upgrade from a plastic Hichiriki to a genuine one? Also, for those who are sensitive to genuine lacquer or have allergies, this is made with cashew lacquer, so it is safe. Among Kobo Hiraku's instruments, this one is considered to have a relatively thick bore. As it is a new instrument, and both the reed and case are new, please enjoy nurturing it yourself. The case has a gold leaf base and features a dazzling design of cherry blossoms, favored by Chiyo Uno, a kimono designer and artist. It is sure to catch the eye at lessons and performances.
