Hichiriki (Japanese double-reed wind instrument)

Thank you for viewing my listing among many products. This is a Hichiriki, an important wind instrument in Gagaku, a traditional Japanese performing art.

Product Information
This Hichiriki is made of synthetic resin (plastic). It features a susudake-cho (aged bamboo style) design that replicates the texture of traditional susudake bamboo, giving it a substantial and authentic appearance. The total length is approximately 18 cm, a standard size that is easy to carry.

Product Features
The biggest advantage of plastic is that, compared to natural bamboo or wood, there is almost no worry about cracking or deformation due to changes in temperature or humidity. Therefore, it requires no special maintenance and is highly recommended for those who are just starting to learn Gagaku, or for beginners who want to engage in serious practice for club activities or as a hobby.

Product Condition
While there are no major scratches or damage on the exterior, there are some signs of dirt from use. Please carefully review the posted photos and purchase only after you are satisfied with the product's condition. The item will be sold as-is, and you may enjoy it more after cleaning and maintenance.

Included Accessories
This listing is for the Hichiriki body only. The rosetsu (reed), cap, and dedicated bag, which are necessary for playing, are not included and will need to be purchased separately.

Regarding Shipping: The item will be carefully packed with cushioning material and shipped with the utmost care to prevent damage. Please consider this opportunity as your first step into experiencing Japanese traditional culture. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the comments. Thank you.
