91 Excellent Playability Japanese Flute Shinobue Bamboo Flute Classical Style Seven Holes Yonhon Choshi Negishi Shinobue Studio

Description
This is made to the same specifications as the Shishida and Maruyama shinobue.

It has natural scratches overall, but it is a great value.

This one has relatively small finger holes, making it easy to play and recommended for women.

Because natural materials are used and it is handmade, there are natural shapes, patterns, bends, and scratches.

The volume (it's a bit sharp on the ears) and tone quality are superior to a shinobue.

I have been researching physics for a long time and have succeeded in selecting materials that are easy to play and produce a good sound.

I discovered that only bamboo that meets certain conditions can produce sound on its own.

Thickness: Approximately 22mm around the mouthpiece.

Length: Approximately 48.2 cm.

Mouthpiece size: Approximately 14.5mm.

Bamboo hardness: Slightly hard, normal, slightly soft.

Thickness: Slightly thinner than normal.

Pitch: Approximately less than five hon (a unit of pitch).

Range: It blows cleanly from the low note to the 5th high note.

It is made based on the standard fingerings and techniques of general shinobue. Fingerings and high note techniques may differ depending on the region. We recommend confirming in the comments.

What is Wafū (Japanese flute)?
It is a transverse flute that has been made by flute makers in Kyoto since the Heian period and passed down throughout the country.
The hayashi (festival music) and satokagura (Shinto shrine music), which are designated as intangible cultural assets, are the original forms of wafū (bamboo flute). (It is a Japanese transverse flute.)
Characteristics:
It is characterized by having nodes, such as madake (giant timber bamboo) and hachiku (bamboo). It is also called a bamboo flute.
It reached its peak from the mid-Edo to the Taisho periods and spread throughout the country, where it was used in local hayashi and satokagura.
However, it declined from the end of the Taisho period to the Showa period. Around this time, Shishida-brand shinobue spread nationwide, and the difficult-to-play and expensive wafū seemed to lose out to the shinobue.

The origin of wafū (bamboo flute) is in Kyoto, and the origin of shinobue is in Tokyo. (Kyoto's bamboo flute, Edo's shinobue) (Dragon's bamboo flute, Lion's shinobue)

There seem to be only a few wafū craftsmen nationwide. (It is extremely difficult to make, so there are very few craftsmen who can play and make them.)
They seem to be quite expensive (around 50,000 yen).
We strive to make wafū that are as easy to play and produce a good sound as possible at an affordable price.
Please note that price reductions are not possible.
