I tried playing it a few times, but my hands are small and I can't reach the finger holes, so I've decided to part with it.

It's been 5 months since I purchased it, but it's in almost unused condition, so it's a beautiful item!

It has a wonderful, deep sound, but I can't play it to its full potential, so I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.

◇Description◇
For the 1-cho flute, if the finger holes are out of reach for the average person, the second hole is covered with the right pinky finger. The resonant low notes and the breathy high notes produce an indescribable tone, making this a flute that any shinobue player would want to try.

【Specifications】
○ Shinobue (Japanese transverse flute), 1-cho (Doremi scale), 7 holes
○ Length: Approx. 59.5 cm, Diameter: Approx. 22.5 mm (near the embouchure)
○ Material: Shin bamboo (Onnadake) (dried for over 3 years and then baked)
○ Holes: Interior coated with synthetic vermilion lacquer (Kashu)
○ Exterior: Coated with transparent synthetic lacquer (Kashu)
○ Winding thread: Light greige x black thread

Approximately 20g of lead is inserted into the head of the flute to stabilize it when playing.
The reflector at the embouchure has been sealed with putty to prevent it from melting even in the summer heat. Transparent lacquer has been applied to the winding thread, making it beautiful and durable.
The flute is tuned to produce Ro-on (1st octave), Ko-on (2nd octave), and Dai-ko-on (3rd octave) by varying the breath strength.
The tuning is set to the Western scale, matched to Ko-on (2nd octave) with a tuner at 440Hz, allowing for ensemble playing and performance with other instruments.
