No. 24 Loud Sound! Etchu Owara Bushi Kazen no Bon Kokyu Bridge Susutake Genuine Tortoiseshell 5-bu 9-rin

This is an original koma (bridge) for kokyu, made in Yatsuo, Toyama Prefecture, famous for the Etchu Owara Bushi and Owara Kaze no Bon festival. (Can also be used for other types of kokyu)
(Special introductory price / One-of-a-kind item)

Most commercially available koma are thick to maintain strength, but this is an extremely thin, high-resonance koma.
It also has a crack prevention feature on the back, significantly reducing the risk of the koma breaking during attachment or removal.

Furthermore, while commercially available kokyu koma are made from a single piece of bamboo, this koma is crafted by separating and joining two pieces of aged bamboo (500 years old) for the upper and lower parts, and then incorporating genuine tortoise shell for the split. This is a very labor-intensive construction.

Due to the intricate craftsmanship, the next arrival is undecided!
First come, first served!
