Hiby R5 SABER (Digital Audio Player)

・This is a mid-range portable DAP released in 2020 by HiBy, a Chinese audio brand. It is an improved model based on the conventional R5, with sound quality tuning geared more towards Hi-Fi (refer to the uploaded images for detailed specifications).

・Equipped with Android v8.1, it supports streaming services like Apple Music.
・Features a dual DAC configuration of Cirrus Logic CS43198 x 2, supporting PCM up to 384kHz/32bit and DSD up to DSD256. It also supports MQA, and offers versatile performance with two output terminals: a 4.4mm balanced and a 3.5mm single-ended.

・The sound quality aims for a resolution-focused, crisp sound while also delivering a powerful, solid punch in the low frequencies – a common balance found in Chinese DAPs (among the many Chinese DAPs with intense sound, I felt this one had a bit more smoothness).

・I used it regularly for about a year when I was out and about, but then I stopped using it altogether, so I've decided to sell it. Upon listing it, I powered it on for the first time in a while, and it's working perfectly. I have reset it to factory settings.

・The main unit is in relatively clean condition, but there are minor scratches from use. There are also scuffs on the upper edge of the case (please refer to the images), so please be aware of this.
