This is an SCD hood with tape around the face.
It effectively protects your precious head from the cold. When combined with a wetsuit, it more effectively prevents body heat from escaping. It also protects your head and hair, and prevents sunburn.
The SCD hood is designed with highly elastic GigaFlex material and features a two-panel construction on the sides for a better fit to your head, reducing stress when putting on and taking off the hood.
