Description
This is a type of cover that completely wraps a koto.
It is a remake item made from a dismantled pure silk kimono.
The fabric is like kasuri (a type of woven textile with a blurred pattern).
The lining is made of new cotton fabric.
Two sheets of shikishi (a type of decorative paper) are used inside where the dragon head rests.
It is thinner than commercially available ones.
This is a handmade item by my mother, who used to do dressmaking.
