OLD MOUNTAIN has recreated an advertising parasol, originally produced in limited quantities by a cigar manufacturer in New Hampshire, USA in the 1900s, as a folding umbrella.
This exquisite piece is manufactured by Makita Shoten, the world's only long-established textile factory founded at the end of the Edo period. All aspects, including sewing and handle assembly, are finished by skilled artisans.
The handle and tip (wooden end) are specially crafted by OLD MOUNTAIN, carved into an original shape from oak wood and finished with a vintage stain.
