Unused item, Swiss Schumacher MC step-up transformer pair
98.87 $
Description
Unused pair of Swiss-made Schumacher MC cartridge step-up transformers from the same lot. Purchased as NOS (New Old Stock) unused items quite some time ago from a US company specializing in professional studio audio. These are highly reliable transformers originally used in professional settings alongside brands like Beyer as microphone step-up transformers. As expected from professional choices, they are excellent transformers. Many highly-rated MC cartridge step-up transformers were originally microphone step-up transformers.
As shown in the diagram in the photo, connecting yellow to black provides approximately 10x amplification.
Although not shown in the photo, connecting green to black or yellow, or connecting both colors in parallel, provides approximately 20x amplification, with an impedance of 37.5Ω, making them widely compatible with MC cartridges from Ortofon to DENON.
Although unused, please understand that there may be some minor dirt due to being old stock.
We will send a pair from the same lot, different from the one in the photos.
