From the internet:
Instead of pressing down with weight, this stabilizer uses rubber to slightly reduce the spindle hole diameter, allowing it to be fitted onto the record to secure it.
The top surface has a strobe pattern printed on it, so it can also be used as a strobe scope to check rotational speed.
It is lightweight, making it suitable for those who don't want to put a strain on the spindle bearing, or for floating-type players with platters suspended by spring suspension.
Size (approx.): Diameter: 69mm x Height: 15mm
Weight (approx.): Approx. 62g
