Lead wires for Thorens cartridges

These are lead wires for Thorens cartridges. They are unused and were removed from an old, unused Thorens headshell. However, due to their age, they may have some tarnishing.

Please note that currently, postal delivery does not occur on weekends or holidays, and delivery times are extended by 1-2 days or more, often resulting in longer delivery periods. If you require faster shipping, please select an alternative shipping method.

Important Notes:
★ Due to shipping constraints, the lead wires will be sent in a ziplock bag only via postal mail. If you require protection against damage or insurance, please notify us before purchasing, as additional shipping fees will apply.
★ The terminals of these lead wires are often made of copper alloys such as phosphor bronze, rather than soft copper, to prevent poor contact during use. Forcing them in with excessive strength can cause them to snap at the base. (Compared to copper, they are harder and less ductile, making them more prone to breaking under impact.) Please use needle-nose pliers to gently grip the flat part of the terminal tip, near the insertion point, and insert them by applying gradual pressure.
Unused lead wires typically have slightly different hole diameters at each end from the start. The mounting hole diameters also vary by cartridge and headshell manufacturer. Forcing them in can often lead to breakage, so please be careful during installation. If the fit is too tight, gently widen the hole slightly before insertion.

While we have conducted various checks, the terminals, being harder than copper, are highly unlikely to break or deform during standard postal delivery. We have also tested them under conditions such as dropping them and stepping on them with shoes, and they generally remain intact unless intentionally damaged.

In extremely rare cases, customers may report that the wires arrived broken or deformed. As stated in our profile, if you require insurance, please inform us of your desire to change the shipping method, as additional shipping fees will apply.
