This is an unused replacement stylus, N-4500Ⅱ, for the Yamaha record cartridge CG-4500Ⅱ.
SWING was the predecessor to the current JICO and produced high-quality record styli at an affordable price. Current JICO styli have become quite expensive.
The cartridge was an OEM for Audio-Technica and was supplied to many companies. Therefore, it is compatible with styli from many audio manufacturers, such as SONY's ND-135G, ONKYO's DN-33, and MITSUBISHI's 3D-38M.
I have been collecting record styli little by little over many years, but I am now disposing of the ones I don't use. I have opened and used this stylus for a test run for the purpose of this listing. It was stored in a dehumidifying cabinet with a camera to prevent deterioration of the damper. I have tested the styli with cartridges I have on hand that can be tested, and I am listing those that are in good working order. As this is a very old manufactured product, please understand that it is generally sold as-is (no claims accepted).
