This is a Japanese-style skirt and blouse set from the popular brand Amavel, inspired by a series featuring long-tailed tits playing with traditional Japanese New Year's battledore decorations and temari balls.

★Skirt★
The hem of the skirt features embroidery with traditional Japanese battledore decorations that include Amabel lettering and plum blossomつまみ細工 (tsumami-zaiku, a traditional Japanese craft of folding and pinching small fabric pieces), along with cute decorations, numerous long-tailed tits, Japanese-style snowflakes, and plum blossom motifs.

The waist area uses a gorgeous jacquard fabric. Above this, ladder lace threaded with grosgrain tape is applied, serving as a subtle and cute accent.

The back ribbon is designed to resemble the tail of a long-tailed tit.

A pleated skirt made of organza fabric is included.
It can be worn at the front opening or attached to the side.
Enjoy arranging it as you like.
A pleasing feature is that the embroidery is not completely hidden even when layering the skirts due to the sheer organza fabric.

★Blouse★
The blouse features embroidery with temari balls and long-tailed tits as the main motifs, along with Japanese-style snowflakes and plum blossom motifs scattered throughout. The vibrant color scheme is also a highlight.

The body of the blouse has a collar design that resembles the overlapping front of a kimono.
In reality, the front is sewn shut, so there's no need to worry about the chest area opening up.

It opens with a back zipper for easy dressing and undressing.

Grosgrain tape lines are applied to the edges of the collar, providing a subtle accent.

A large ribbon brooch made of jacquard and plain fabric, a ribbon brooch made of grosgrain tape, and a fur pompom brooch are included.

The jacquard and plain fabrics used are the same as those used for the skirt's waist, enhancing the overall unity when worn as a set.

Layering the tape ribbon over the fabric ribbon, and then the fur pompom brooch on top, and attaching the ribbon to the chest area prevents the collar from opening too wide and makes the face area look more radiant, which is recommended.
