This is a junk item XLR cable from Focusrite.
I tried disassembling it, and while there are no solder peeling issues, it's not working properly.
Sound does come out, but the input level is very low, requiring the interface's mic pre to be almost at maximum to get a usable signal.
With other cables, the sound is strong at around the 11 o'clock position, so I believe the cable is the problem.
Please purchase only if you can handle it as a junk item, such as if you can troubleshoot the cause or use it for parts.
