【Junk Item】Avalon U5 Microphone Preamplifier

This is a junk (defective) unit of the AVALON U5, which currently retails for nearly 200,000 yen new.

When I tried to use it after a long time, I turned it on and there was a slight strange smell. The noise from both the headphone jack and the line output was severe, making it unusable.
The cause of the malfunction is unknown, so I don't know if it can be repaired, but it is highly likely that electrolytic capacitors or other components have deteriorated.

I purchased this about 10 years ago at Ikebe in Ikebukuro, but I have lost the warranty card.

I feel reluctant to dispose of it, so I am listing it for those who can repair it themselves and use it, or for those who want to use it for parts.

As this is listed as a junk (defective) item, we will not accept returns or complaints due to malfunction. Please purchase with this understanding.

It will be shipped in the original cardboard box (which is already in poor condition) with the shipping label attached.
