TASCAM PORTA TWO Cassette Tape Mixer - Reason for Discount
119.46 $
Description
This item is from warehouse storage.
Simple cleaning and operation checks were performed before listing.
Power, operation of various knobs, cassette tape playback, fast forward, rewind, stop, and pause functions were all confirmed to be working without issue.
Recording and output from various jacks could not be confirmed due to lack of appropriate environment.
Regarding the reasons for the 訳アリ (訳アリ means with a reason or flawed) condition: the right channel audio output is abnormal (as shown in image 6, if the MASTER is turned up beyond positions 2 and 3, only the left channel audio will output). Additionally, while this unit can be powered by 8 AA batteries, the metal contacts are rusted and partially missing.
Due to the above, the item is listed as scratched and dirty.
Other than these points, there are no noticeable scratches on the exterior, and it is in relatively clean condition.
This is an interesting piece of equipment that can play the reverse audio of side B during normal playback of side A, and also offers tape playback pitch control.
