Many boat octopus anglers targeting large octopus have requested larger hooks, so we have made the hooks larger this time.
If the hooks are made any larger than these, they will be too heavy, causing the lure to lie on its side on the seabed and roll around, increasing lost opportunities.

Please adjust the balance and buoyancy with the lure yourself.

When attached to a size 3.5 eging lure,
the lure will have a low underwater posture or lie flat on the seabed. These hooks are recommended for strong currents and boat octopus fishing. (Photo ④)

You can see the comparison with the octopus eging hooks I usually list by looking at Photo ⑥.

For points on adjusting the angle, width, etc., of the hooks, please refer to Photos 10-12 and adjust them to your liking.

The width between the hooks can also be spread by hand.
Recommended hook width: 22mm at the front, 25mm at the back.

Beginners in octopus fishing often mistakenly believe that attaching larger hooks will result in more catches, but this is incorrect. Balance is key in everything.

Attaching hooks that are too large
will cause the lure to roll on the seabed and get snagged. However, if you require even larger hooks, we can make them slightly larger as a custom order.

For custom orders:
Because we consider balance, conduct trial production, and then commercialize, there are losses of scrap materials, which increases costs. Therefore, each hook will cost ¥250 - ¥300.

As these are handmade by an amateur, there may be variations and errors in hook size. Please understand.

Please read the description carefully and purchase only if you are satisfied. Those who are overly sensitive, seek perfection, or have poor manners should refrain from purchasing.
