【Operation Confirmed】MARES MR-02 Regulator Set
154.00 $
Description
High-performance Mares MR-02 regulator set.
This model is no longer sold, but it was popular among instructors.
The main second stage is a set with the Abyss, which was the top model at the time.
As shown in the photos, it was last overhauled in 2022, but it was sent for overhaul every year before that. It was purchased in 2018, and I estimate the number of dives to be around 100.
I used it in June for a functional check just in case, and there were no problems.
The characteristic of Mares regulators is their ease of breathing.
Air comes out with just a light inhale, making it less likely to feel breathless underwater.
The main second stage, the Abyss, is made of metal and has the characteristic of preventing dry throat because condensation forms inside during breathing.
The main mouthpiece has been replaced with a new one.
(Please check the mouthpiece area in the 4th photo. The end of the zip tie is still attached, but I will cut it off before shipping.)
