This was a highly acclaimed player at the time.

As of the time of listing, I have confirmed playback and sound output with several CDs and CD-Rs. It plays without any issues and sounds very good.

Maintenance performed:

- Replaced with a new Sharp pickup lens.
- Replaced the tray drive belt with a new one.
- Restored contact points of the tray open/close switch.
- Reapplied silicone grease to each drive mechanism.
- Restored contact points of external output terminals.
- Exterior cleaning (polishing, etc.).
- Adjusted the pickup lens in maintenance mode after lens replacement.

Although CD-Rs are not officially supported by this product, it can play CD-Rs.

There is no crackling or static when adjusting the volume.

There are no playback issues. No skipping or other problems were encountered during testing. The sound quality is excellent.

The exterior has minor scratches, but considering its age, I believe it is in quite beautiful condition.
