YAMAHA Boxed Powered Mixer EMX88s Operation and Sound Confirmed With Bonus Item

YAMAHA Powered Mixer EMX88s - Tested and Working, Free Shipping, Includes 5m Speaker Cables

This is a powered mixer with a total of 14 inputs: 8 channels of MIC & LINE mono inputs (channels 7 and 8 can also be used as stereo phone inputs) plus 2 channels of stereo phone jack inputs. It boasts a 400W + 400W output. While it lacks the one-knob compressor and feedback suppressor found on the latest models, it offers more inputs than current models. This makes it highly versatile for mini-live performances, allowing you to fully utilize up to 8 channels for microphones and instruments while simultaneously playing background music or karaoke. The latest models feature built-in digital power amplifiers, but this unit is the final model equipped with an analog power amplifier. It also has a robust internal transformer for a reliable sound. As a bonus, two 5m speaker cables, handmade with Canare and Neutrik components, are included. I currently use two other units of the same model and kept this one as a spare. However, I am selling it due to equipment consolidation. There are signs of wear consistent with its age. While there is some crackling when turning the volume knob for channel 1 and the master monitor volume, there are no practical issues with power or sound output. The bottom feet have been slightly trimmed to allow for easier angled placement, but this does not compromise the structural integrity of the unit. The internal power amplifier can be switched to a 2-channel stereo configuration using the front panel switch, enabling operation with two main speakers (200W + 200W stereo) and two monitor speakers (200W + 200W stereo), which is very convenient.

An instruction manual (copy) is also included.
