The 1.5mm thick silicone pads on the top and bottom plates provide anti-slip and vibration damping, effectively supporting both functionality and sound quality.
In my personal opinion, the U-shaped design creates a moderate amount of flex, which seems to alleviate the hardness often found in metal speaker stands, resulting in a neutral and natural sound quality.
On the other hand, when speakers are placed on them, they can be a bit wobbly. However, thanks to the aforementioned silicone pads, they were stable in my home environment.
While they may not be suitable for large or heavy speakers, they should be perfectly adequate for small desktop speakers.
There are minor scratches from use, but overall it is in good condition!
