These forged pegs are made by heating round steel material to approximately 1100°C and then powerfully crushing the cross-section into an oval shape with a force of about 1 ton.
By applying strong pressure to the heated steel, pegs with excellent strength are created.
Standard round pegs tend to spin in the ground, making them difficult to use. However, oval pegs penetrate well and anchor firmly even in hard ground mixed with gravel and stones.
The rope attachment area is designed with thicker material to withstand strong tension.
The areas where the rope touches are rounded to prevent the rope from being cut by sharp edges or burrs.
They are highly resistant to corrosion and are 380mm in total length, making them ideal for main poles.
