Introducing the MLD peg case made of Dyneema® Composite Fabric, strong enough to prevent pegs from tearing through the material.
It is very lightweight, and the simple two-set configuration with its translucent body is attractive and fills a niche that was previously missing.
The small size has enough room for 6-8 pegs for a regular shelter and guy lines, making it just the right size for storing knives, cutlery, solid fuel, etc.
The large size is perfect for storing long pegs for winter use, bicycle puncture repair kits, spare tubes if they are slim, emergency lighters, duct tape, etc.
If a peg case gets a hole, dry soil can turn into fine sand and dirty your backpack, so it's best to choose a material that is difficult to tear.
At 4g for the S size and 6g for the L size, the weight is comparable to a Ziploc bag, which is a major appeal.
Feel free to pack various items and go on an overnight hike.
