Fly Retrieval - Extendable Rod to Pull in Snagged Branches - Green, 2m to 31cm - DIY

A must-have for fly fishermen!
At 2 meters long, it offers excellent retrieval rates!
Also useful for foraging wild vegetables.

● Maximum Length: 200cm
● Closed Length: 31cm
● Weight: 104 grams

This is a telescopic pole with an aluminum hook attached.
I made a few extra of these, which I've been using myself, so I'm putting them up for sale.

The hook is securely attached with strong epoxy resin, and further reinforced by inserting a triangular bracket through a hole that goes through the tip pipe and the aluminum hook.

Non-slip tape is wrapped around the hook to prevent slippage when pulling branches closer.
They are surprisingly durable, lasting about 2 seasons, but I'm including enough spare tape for 2 re-applications.

*While it has considerable strength, excessive force applied to the main body, including its joints, can lead to detachment or breakage.

● Other Uses: Attics, wall cavities, cable catchers, electrical wiring, cable installation, electrical work, electricians, electrical construction, wiring, wire pulling. A lifesaver for solo work.

● Background
I've been fly fishing for 35 years. Initially, I attached an S-hook to a rope and threw it to snag branches to retrieve my flies, but it was difficult to consistently snag branches with a thrown rope. Next, I used a bait fishing rod for mountain streams with a short closed length, but its closed length was always around 40cm, and if I pulled too hard on a branch, the rod would get stuck and wouldn't close.
So, for the past few years, I've been using a pointer stick like this. I found that I needed at least 2 meters, and this specification is what I've settled on.
