⭐️ Vintage lanterns may have variations in tank bottom size, deformation, repairs, or manufacturing inconsistencies, which may result in wobbling or issues with magnet adhesion.
Neodymium magnets provide increased stability and protect against oil drips, moisture, dirt, and scratches.
It can be lifted directly, but may detach due to impact. Please be careful when hanging with hooks or other means.
Made from domestic Japanese pagoda tree (Enju), a wood considered auspicious, used for warding off evil and as amulets. Enju (槐) is a precious tree species known for its hardness, toughness, and resistance to cracking, making it highly durable and excellent in properties among domestic woods. It is also highly valued for its color.
Carved, chamfered, sanded, hand-polished, and finished with unbleached beeswax.
The narrow growth rings and beautiful, lustrous black grain in places create an exquisite rounded edge that invites touch ^_^
It will gain more vintage character with use.
As this is a handmade item made from solid wood, please understand that there may be knots, cracks, warping, minor scratches, or unevenness. We have avoided large knots as much as possible and finished with cutting, sanding, and hand-polishing.
