This is a set of 6 colors of fly tying material, Ostrich Herl (cut pieces).
Colors: Red (approx. 8cm), Yellow (approx. 4cm),
Brown (approx. 10cm), Light Brown (approx. 9cm),
Black (approx. 7cm), White (approx. 9cm)
As you can see in the photos, these are used, cut pieces, and the outer packaging and manufacturer's labels are no longer present. Therefore, the colors are described by their general hue (please judge from the photos).
These are famous for their flexibility and beauty as decorative feathers. When wrapped around a fly body, the fine hairs (flue) stand up. They are often used for the bodies of caddis, terrestrials, and nymphs, as well as for the wings and gills of streamers, and for wet flies and salmon flies. They are also popular as body material for Stillwater flies.
While it may be difficult to see the details in the photos, the materials have been stored in an indoor container box with seasonal moth repellent replacements, and no significant quality deterioration has been observed.
These are used, cut pieces, and are secondhand items stored by an amateur with no original packaging. Please understand this before purchasing. Those who are sensitive to such details should refrain from buying.
