Finished Fly T's Original Aomidoro SP Streamer #10

This streamer is inspired by the juvenile Himemasu (Kokanee salmon) conceived by the late Mr. Nozaki of Lake Ashi, with unique improvements.
The body is wrapped with shimmering material and 3D eyes are attached to make it look more like juvenile fish.
Approximately 7cm in total length.
Uses a #10 long shank with lead wrapped around it.
*The barb on the hook has been flattened.

When submerged in water, it becomes quite slender (see 5th photo) and sinks due to the lead wrapped around the hook. You can create the appearance of fleeing juvenile fish with a fast, short retrieve.

*T's is the artist's work name.

[Fishing Report] May 15, 2025
Weather: Sunny, Temperature: 15℃ to 24℃, Water Temperature: 17℃
On this day, the fish were highly active and aggressively attacked the flies.
It sinks due to the included sinker. With a short, jerky retrieve, the 3D eyes create the illusion of fleeing juvenile fish. Since the fly has a marabou tail, fish often bite only the tail. If you feel a bite, don't set the hook too hard with the rod; instead, gently pull the line to confirm the bite. Also, when fish are chasing the fly, adding a twitch-twitch action with the rod to simulate fleeing movements resulted in several successful strikes at the end. On this day, with favorable conditions, we caught 90 fish using dry, wet, and sinking flies.
