This is an Elk Hair Caddis (Bleached) #14 tied on a Maruto d04 hook.
*The actual color is a bit more麦色 (mugiiro - wheat-colored).
This is a versatile fly that covers all kinds of aquatic insects.
When drifted naturally, the splash it makes seems to be influenced by the whitish color acting as an attractor. (Perhaps natural elk hair that looks more like an insect emerges more slowly? Just my personal opinion lol)
The hackle, body color, natural elk hair, barbed hook, and hook size (#16, etc.) can be changed.
