Description

This is a fully functional, gold-colored Sony Cassette Walkman WM-MV1 released in 1997, complete with headphones.

The unit has undergone disassembly and internal cleaning, replacement of the rubber belt with a new one, demagnetization of the head and capstan using a head eraser, and speed adjustment.
The exterior has been treated with a polishing and protective agent.

All functions are confirmed to be working: playback, rewind, fast forward, stop, reverse, MEGA BASS, noise reduction, A.V.L.S., and tape type switching (Normal to CrO2/Metal).

Please refer to the images for the exterior condition.
As this is a vintage item, there are minor scratches, scuffs, and abrasions due to age, but the overall condition is good. The battery compartment is free of rust and has no signs of leakage.

This model was also known as the Full Metal Jacket due to its robust body combining metal and plastic.
We kindly ask for your understanding before purchasing.
